Level 1- We finished their sentences about music (some good sentences and quite interesting topics about music) and also did the listening on Page 82.

Homework:  Complete Pages 83A and 84A.  You will use these for the speaking activities next class.

Level 2 - We finished the beginning of the Travel unit.

Homework- Please prepare your Travel scraps for next class.

Level 3 - They did the 3 graffiti readings.

Homework: Please answer the questions for Readings 1-3 on page 132. Also, page 133- Analyze 1-3.

Level 4: We talked a bit about New Year's resolutions and the Japanese hostage situation with ISIS. Then proceeded to the DVD. We finished everything up to page 75.

Homework: pages76-78, discussion question. Also please make at least one original discussion question for the unit.

Saturday, January 10

In each class we talked about our new year’s holidays, discussed the article on traditional Japanese New Year’s food and in some classes we even made new year’s resolutions. Everyone did a wonderful job!

Here is the homework for each class.

Level 1- Write 5 – 7 sentences about music. We will start unit 9 next week.

Level 2 – Check page 37. Write 5 – 7 sentences about a trip you took. We will start page 40 of unit 5 next week.

Level 3 – Please read pages 128 to 130 on Graffiti. We will do the unit on Graffiti in the next lesson.

Level 4 – We will start unit 13 next Saturday so please preview the unit.
