I hope that you had a great weekend! It was
really nice seeing everyone again last Saturday. It felt like it had been a long
while…
Here is a brief update. If you have any
questions, please feel free to email me. Remember that there will be no class
on November 10 due to the Otemae School Festival. I will be there all day on
Saturday, November 10 and Sunday, November 11 so please come pop by the
festival to say hello if you have some free time.

Level 1: We finished the unit on “Duration.”
For homework please preview the next unit on “Frequency” and answer questions 1
– 18 on page 44.
Level 2: We completed the unit on “Work.”
We also discussed the warm-up questions and did the vocabulary section on page
38 of the unit on “City Life.” Please create your own mind map on cities, like
the example on page 38, to discuss in the next class.

grammar sections on pages 97-100. I will bring you in some more grammar examples
like I promised next class. We also started unit 6 and had a great discussion
on GMOs. We finished page 109 and the vocabulary section on pages 111-112. For
homework, please listen to listening 1 and answer the “Listen for Main Ideas,” “Listen
for Details,” and the “What do you think?” questions on pages 112 – 113.
