In all of the classes we started with a started with a
15-minute speaking game followed by a 10-minute word card activity.
Level 1- We completed the vocabulary section and vocabulary
in use on pages 59 and 60. For homework, please finish the comprehension
section on page 60 -61. After taking up those answers, we will move on to unit
10 so please read it before coming to class.
Level 2- We finished
most of unit 6 with the exception of the "speak with confidence" section. For homework, use the language in the “Language Booster”
section to write 5- 10 rules that you are familiar with.
Level 3- We had a great discussion on education, but
unfortunately, we did not get a chance to take up the answers in the vocabulary
section on page 26. We will take up those answers at the beginning of class
next week. For homework, please make your own mind map about education on page
26 and preview the “points of view” section on page 27.
Level 4- We completed “understanding the news” and “retelling
the news story on pages 34 and 35. For homework, please answer the “critical
thinking” discussion questions on page 36.
